Get your adrenaline flowing for an Eco adventure Zip Lining Canopy Tour along nine long zip lines, woven from treetop to treetop in Northern Costa Rica’s rainforest jungle. Only the north side of Rincon de la Vieja is in the rainforest with gorgeous waterfalls and blue rivers. Our longest line measures over 500M! Next on the tour, walk in our private park to experience the breathtaking blue volcanic river, cascading waterfalls, exotic plants, and wildlife. Then, off to the Blue River Resort to tour the botanical gardens and butterfly farm. Afterwards relax in our magical “green” natural mineral hot springs pools, and/or take a mud bath and natural sauna.

You will be visiting the Caribbean side of the majestic Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park and that means leaving the hot dry beaches for the jungle rainforest and spectacular views of the majestic Rincon de la Vieja volcano. Only on this (north) side of the park, can you experience the brilliant blue volcanic rivers and” emerald green” natural mineral hot springs. Spending time at Blue River Resort & Hot Springs includes soaking in four gorgeous natural minerals “green” hot spring pools, taking mud baths, touring botanical gardens with over 700 varietals and the butterfly farm, and swimming in the freshwater pool with bullet waterslide plus much more.

Itinerary

Transportation Options

Itinerary 
7:00 am: Pickup from hotels in Tamarindo, Pinilla, or Conchal (approx. 8:20 AM for Coco Beach hotels).
10:00 am: Arrive at Blue River Resort. Begin with a welcome cocktail and a safety briefing with our experienced zip line guides.
10:30 am: Start your Zip Line adventure! Ride nine long lines suspended over waterfalls and through the jungle.
12:30 pm: Blue River Restaurant & Tiki Bar: After your adventure, savor a delicious meal of traditional Costa Rican cuisine or vegetarian options, accompanied by a refreshing seasonal fruit drink with kid-friendly options.
1:30 pm: Unwind after your adventure in the resort’s hot springs, enjoy a natural mud bath, or take a stroll through the botanical and butterfly gardens.
4:00 pm: Free time to relax and explore the resort before returning to your hotel.

  • Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.
  • Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
